You don't have ASIO4ALL on your machine do you? you don't need ASIO4ALL to use the maudio fast track since it has native ASIO drivers. Windows Vista 64bit, AMD 955 Black edition 3.2mhz quadcore,Įverything works perfect in Cakewalk Project5 version 2, The best software ever! But the program only uses 1 core? My new VSTs cause the cpu to run at 95%, and then it crashes, The soundcard is an M-Audio Fast Track Pro, on Sonar X1 producer 64bit, x1c patch, It worked fine for like an hour or so? If I load WMD drivers in pref and then it loads settings back in, I can set the ASIO back up? but raley does this work? Device may not support the current projects audio format''? There is no clicking when the computer's audio device (Conexant 20671 SmartAudio HD) is used instead of the fast track.Hi, I keep having problems loading a project with ASIO? The program tells me ''unable to open playback device. Clicking is unaffected by the check boxes for "Always Resample 44.1khz 48khz" and "Force WDM Driver to 16 Bit."įast Track is enabled for playback and recording, but is not the default device either. When it is unchecked, audio quality, static, and glitching gets bad, regardless of Kernel Buffers value.

When Hardware buffer is checked, clicking is unaffected by Buffer Offset Value. Clicking is unaffected by the Latency Compensation values for In or Out. Below 512 samples audio quality, static, and glitching gets bad. Clicking is unaffect when ASIO Buffer Size is between 5 samples. All other devices and sub-options are not activated. In ASIO4all: Fast Track is activated as well as the sub-options Out (2x 32-48khz, 24 bits) and In (2x 32-48khz, 24 bits). In Ableton: (Driver type: ASIO), (Audio Device: ASIO4all v2,) (Input Config: 1 (mono) & 2 (mono), 1/2 (stereo)), (Output Config: 1 (mono) & 2 (mono), 1/2 (stereo)), (In/Out Sample Rate: 44100), (Default SR & Pitch Correction: Normal), (Driver Error Compensation: 0.00ms)

I want to use ASIO4all instead of the computer's default audio driver for the latency reduction, but I also want to get rid of the clicking. The clicks are not random, but are happening at about 1/16th notes around 100bpm. At the moment, I am getting sound through interface, but the audio is clicking. My interface is a first generation M-Audio Fast Track, which I am trying to setup in Ableton using ASIO4all on a Windows 7 machine.
